This person will provide superior phone technical support to our customers by troubleshooting and providing solutions to hardware and software issues. Possible Travel. This position requires 4+ years similar experience, including PBX knowledge. A solid understanding and working knowledge of the computer hardware platform including, but not limited to: IRQ; I/O Addresses; SCSI Principles; Multi-Channel Raid Controllers; and RAID 0, 1 and 5. In addition, a solid understanding and working knowledge of the system BIOS and it's settings; understanding and working knowledge of the Microsoft operating systems 2000/NT/XP; User Rights and Permissions; Domains and Workgroups; Network Security TCP/IP; Solid understanding and working knowledge of the hardware platform of networking - Cabling- Hubs and Routers. Must possess a basic understanding of phone system principles and the associated wiring. We are looking for someone that is willing to learn and will have a strong retention of training.
